2009 NIDA International Forum Satellite Meeting. The 2009 NIDA International Forum will focus on Commonalities Among the Diseases of Addiction: Implications for Treatment and Prevention. The Forum will begin Friday, June 19, with afternoon workshops conducted by the International Society of Addiction Journal Editors (ISAJE) on practical and ethical issues in Publishing Addiction Science.  The Forum will continue on Saturday, June 20, with a research symposium featuring a plenary session and workshops on the ethical conduct of research, treatment programs, inhalants, basic science, and online collaboration and training tools. International Research Posters will be presented during a CPDD Workshop from 8 to 10 pm on Monday, June 22. NIDA International Program Travel Awards are available for international researchers whose abstracts are accepted for the International Research Posters workshop.
